others...., well, i've read about an article regarding vs (victoria secret's) fashion show which took place at the end of last year, they have made a horrible mistake. they wanted to too obviously target potential chinese market customers and the victoria secret angels (that's what they call their supermodels) to walk the runway with dragons wrapped around their body or wearing some dragon designed under wears.

now, that is so foolish and wrong. as being a long time china expat, we all know chinese people don't like chinese design. they also don't dare to use the dragon motif so casually that expresses long time ago's emperor, but they prefer more of western designed and styled things. as a big victoria secret's fan (most of my under wears are vs) and i usually like most of their lines, i gotta say that if they want to succeed in the chinese market, just keep on doing design for like our market. not use dragon motif. of course, in china, many people wear red under wear for good luck, but vs doesn't necessary have to do that. young generations are changing taste. they are more stylish and don't like old lame things. they really love western or japanese cool stuff and want to show off to other people about what they own.

another one... i'm now pretty curious about the woody allen's sitcom for amazon that played last september and already ended in one season. it's called "crisis in six scenes."

it seems it wasn't well received but the project was brought to allen by amazon to beat the competition in netflix.
woody allen says that he regretted the minute after he said "ok." maybe he is not good at doing sitcom. he's the movie guy. but i want to watch it with the folks when they come back. because it stars one of the actors john magaro that i like very much.
