expat life

went out again after dinner

in the afternoon got many things done before we went out. first we went to china telecom to buy another phone card and registered for our mobiles. brought passport and the line was pretty long, we sat and waited but service was nice. then, we went to this real long street fake market and we didn't buy fake things, but we know this real nice shop that has all kinds of cool and cute moroccan style designed bowls and plates of all sizes, which it costs almost same as in taobao (i check before of course you know), so we just bought six each and all. now that we cook rice hehe (used to buy in the island). that market had so many interesting things, leather goods and hat places, wooden buddhism bracelet places, and kitchen tool places are some of them. i brought the middle priced watch that dad gave me before from japan this time, and because it's a quartz with battery ran out for long time and i was too lazy to change it knowing it is so cheaper to change battery in a watch shop in china than japan, so in this market i was sure they'd have some shops that will change the battery for me. i was right. found a couple selling watches, we negotiated, sooooooo nicely quickly got it done for cheap. then, looked at many cool kitchen tools that are real good quality that's normally exported cheaper than other countries and came home. had delivery dinner, again real satisfied because it was tasty spicy chinese with hot and sour soup, then we went to the brewhouse.

we went to the one in our neighborhood. this one is normally quiet with no foreigners but tnite, many british people came in the midnight and got pretty a loud environment. hehe. talked about so many things we are passionate about in life. also, this chinese told us a real cool wechat function that we didn't know until then, there's this thing in chat menu you can just swipe down take a photo of anything you like, and they think for a while and give you an answer what that object is. we tried that in many things laughing all the way surprised by it's accuracy and sometimes getting wrong. haha. eating spicy duck parts on the way home. was fun fun. ;)
