great italian & VUE in Hyatt on the Bund

great italian & VUE in Hyatt on the Bund with island folks. so great to see them again. folks from 6 different countries gathered again! ;) first had a real nice italian. foie gras risotto, squid ink risotto, ham platter, steak, pork grill, salad, dessert, and a lot of red wine.
we carried around so many wine bottles from the exhibition that the sellers gave us because some of us are in restaurant business, so we asked the italian restaurant manager if we can open our own wine if we spent pretty expensive. It's often okay if you buy one bottle of good wine from restaurant, then you can open one of your own bottle.

then after the italian restaurant, we went to the VUE in Hyatt on the Bund. If you live in china for long yrs, everyone should have been there at least once. It is very popular bar in the real high floor with great waitan view. we had champagne there. first we sat inside by the window with great view, and then we went upstairs to outside seat, where everyone and relax in big sofa. there's also a jacuzzi in the middle if you want, just hope in! ;P
then, we split. they went back to their cozy airbnb place, we came home.

totally fine today. 11.11 things arriving again. went to get them to the downstairs lockers. the silk pillow cover is soooooooo beautiful pastel colors and nice. gotta buy more of these before i go back to japan the next time. hehe. talked to family in japan on the phone, real nice. then took care part of island project and sent out some e-mails.
